The Recording Industry Association of America is demanding $7,400 from a woman who was a teenager when she infringed the record labels copyrights on the file sharing program Kazaa. Whitney Harper of Texas, now 20, downloaded the songs between the ages of 14 and 16, and didn't realize she was breaking the law. In response, the RIAA says the woman, who is demanding a jury trial, should pay up instead of "choosing to drag this out."
